VÖLKEL has expanded its Berlin portfolio to over 10 properties following the acquisition of the commercial and technical property management mandate for the Schönhauser Tor.
Completed in 1996, the Schönhauser Tor – named after the historic Berlin city gate on today’s Torstraße – is located in a central downtown location in the Berlin-Mitte district and features more than 16,000 m² of rentable space. The valuable building complex, with eight upper floors and two underground levels including an underground parking garage, mainly comprises attractive office spaces. The ground floor accommodates retail spaces and a café. Architecturally, the large, landscaped atrium is particularly impressive.
