NKD, the price-oriented textile retailer, is expanding its space on the first floor of the Kösseine shopping center in Marktredwitz
On June 2, the opening will be celebrated on an almost doubled area. “The fact that NKD has made a long-term commitment to the location and is increasing its space shows that our project development and the conversion of the basement are a complete success for the entire center,” says Christopher Kreutzer, Center Manager of VÖLKEL Real Estate at KEC. “Further good news is expected in the coming weeks.”
In a comprehensive project development, the former Kaufland space in the basement was converted into a shopping arcade and connected to the ground floor with an escalator. The first tenants, Woolworth, have already moved in.
The KEC is one of the best-known and most popular shopping centers in the Fichtelgebirge region near the Czech border with well-known chain stores such as C&A, New Yorker, Woolworth, Deichmann, Fussl and Jeans Fritz. The center is located directly in Marktredwitz city center and is characterized by its diverse use with retail, offices and leisure facilities. Berlinovo and VÖLKEL are implementing a comprehensive package of measures to ensure the center’s long-term attractiveness.
