The Schwarzwald-Baar-Center is celebrating its 25th anniversary and looks back on a quarter of a century as a central shopping and meeting place in the region. Since its opening on September 28, 2000, the center has continuously evolved, gaining numerous loyal tenants and an enthusiastic audience.
“25 years of Schwarzwald-Baar-Center – that’s 25 years full of ideas, encounters, and shared experiences,” says Louisa Maier, the center’s manager. “We are grateful for the loyalty of our customers and tenants, and proud to have celebrated this anniversary with so many people.”
Since its opening in 2000, nine retailers have been permanent tenants of the center – a lovely symbol of stability and partnership. With its diverse mix of businesses, popular events, and seasonal highlights such as the festive Christmas decorations, the Schwarzwald-Baar-Center will continue to be a vibrant meeting place for the whole family in the future.
A Place for Encounters and Diversity
Since 2010, VÖLKEL Real Estate GmbH has been responsible for the center’s management and leasing. With its barrier-free architecture, spacious retail area of over 33,000 square meters, and the 65-meter-high mast as a landmark, the center remains a central hub for shopping and leisure in the region.
