Revitalization at KEC continues to bear fruit
VÖLKEL has successfully secured the long-term commitment of fashion discounter Takko to the Kösseine Shopping Center (KEC) in Marktredwitz. The retailer will relocate from the upper floor to the ground floor, where it will be positioned next to New Yorker and the popular ice cream parlor. Following a construction period of around six weeks, Takko will open its new store on October 30, 2025. For the vacated upper-floor unit, VÖLKEL had already announced NKD as the new tenant back in June.
“A long-standing tenant is reaffirming its commitment to the location, relocating within the center, and at the same time expanding its presence,” said Christopher Kreuzer, Center Manager of KEC Marktredwitz.
Since 2013, VÖLKEL Real Estate GmbH has been managing the Kösseine Shopping Center in Marktredwitz on behalf of Berlinovo Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH, with responsibility for center management, facility management, and leasing. Centrally located in Marktredwitz, the center offers a diverse mix of retail, offices, and a cinema.
