V\u00d6LKEL Real Estate further increased its leasing performance compared to previous years. Across the managed portfolios, approximately 120 lease agreements covering around 40,950 sqm were newly concluded or actively extended. The fixed terms of new leases and prolongations remained stable at an average of almost four years compared to the previous year. With this performance, V\u00d6LKEL underlines its commitment to solution-oriented asset management expertise.    This performance underlines V\u00d6LKEL&#8217;s claim to solution competence in asset management.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201e<br\/>\u201cBased on the respective asset strategies agreed with our clients, clear fields of action arise for our leasing managers. Once again, the very good leasing results are also the outcome of close collaboration between our regional on-site teams and our cross-regional coordination with tenants operating nationwide. Over the past year, we clearly felt the increased demand from brick-and-mortar retail for well-located, high-footfall and professionally managed sites. Many retailers are open to economically attractive offers for well-positioned and suitable spaces in strong retail properties. Furthermore, many retailers are willing to commit to locations for longer periods once they are confident that these sites will continue to develop positively in the future. The retail sector is active and expanding.
