As part of the long-term development of the Kauf Park in G\u00f6ttingen, V\u00d6LKEL Real Estate and Deka Immobilien have brought the consumer electronics retailer MediaMarkt into the center.<\/p>\n\n
The center now boasts three market leaders as large-scale anchor tenants: Kaufland, Obi and MediaMarkt.<\/p>\n\n
MediaMarkt will further strengthen the supply function for the region, supported by tenants such as Aldi, Deichmann, Intersport, tegut, Rossmann, Christ, Thalia, Depot, Camp David and numerous other strong chain stores as well as regionally successful retailers, restaurateurs and service providers. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n After a conversion phase of six months, during which the entire rental space was gutted, renovated and furnished, Media Markt opened its core format on Thursday, August 29.\nMedia Markt opened with its core format, further strengthening the importance of the Kauf Park for the region.\nCovering an area of around 1,800 square meters, the store stocks the full range of products.\nThe focus is on touching, trying out and experiencing the products, as well as personal advice on site.\nComprehensive services round off the offer.\nCustomers can also access MediaMarkt’s entire online range via the connection to the online store. <\/p>\n\n R\u00fcdiger Hampe, Managing Director of V\u00f6lkel Real Estate GmbH, is pleased with the new tenant: “The letting to the market leader MediaMarkt is a great success for Kauf Park and, following the letting to Kaufland in 2022, represents a further step in the site-specific development of the former real rental space.”<\/p>\n\n Lower Saxony’s largest retail park <\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n The Kauf Park in G\u00f6ttingen was built in 1998 and, with a sales area of approx. 45,000 sqm and over 10,000 visitors a day, it is the largest retail park in southern Lower Saxony. The center is easily accessible for customers via the A7, A44 and A38 as well as via the B3 from G\u00f6ttingen. The space is leased on a long-term basis and the focus is on covering daily needs with groceries and drugstore items, but also includes a DIY store, a garden center and restaurants. Tenants include Kaufland, Obi, Aldi and Tegut.<\/p>\n\n Kauf Park G\u00f6ttingen has been managed by V\u00d6LKEL Real Estate as a full service since 2019. The V\u00d6LKEL Group was founded in Hamburg in 2004 and, in addition to operational property management, offers a wide range of other services relating to the life cycle of a property.
